Dr. Thale Gjessing Uchermann Riisøen is a specialist in plastic surgery since 2020. Her focus is on body shaping procedures such as arm, thigh and tummy tucks. Breast surgeries such as reductions, lifts and prosthetics, liposuction, as well as removal of excess skin after significant weight loss.

Riisøen is a medical doctor from Charles University in Prague and has her specialist training from Haukeland University Hospital. She currently works at Haraldsplass Diakonale Hospital with a focus on surgery of excess skin after massive weight loss and breast reductions. She also works at Volvat in Bergen and Trondheim where she also performs facial surgery.

At Stavanger Plastic Surgery, she is medically responsible for injection and laser treatments.

She is a member of the Norwegian Society of Plastic Surgery, the Norwegian Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Norwegian Medical Association.

Riisøen has extensive experience in various fields of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. By combining public and private work, she has a wide range of patients with different and unique needs where she focuses on seeing the patient and their wishes.
