The people behind the masks

We are passionate about our profession, but we are also people with our own interests and hobbies. Here we share small and big moments from everyday life, thoughts on aesthetics, and what inspires us when we are not in the operating room.

– I love what I do

Clinic manager Bjørn Tore Haga has extensive and broad experience in several fields of surgery, is among the country's most experienced plastic surgeons, and is passionate about the profession.

– The motivation lies in helping people

Easily accessible at Madlakrossen, yet secluded and unobstructed, is Stavanger Plastic Surgery.

Once inside the bright and modern premises, you are welcomed by a pleasant lady, and you immediately notice that the smile reaches the eyes, as it often does when the warmth and commitment are genuine. You have just met Silje, the clinic's general manager.

Migraine can now be operated on

“This is really exciting,” says Bjørn Tore Haga. He is the clinic manager at Stavanger Plastic Surgery, and the first surgeon in Norway to perform the operation.

– I never get tired of my profession

If you've visited Stavanger Plastic Surgery at Madla, you may have heard the cheerful, enthusiastic Karmøy dialect in the hallways: Dermatologist Marita Torkelsen has busy days, and she loves it.

Hand surgeries and evaluation for hand and arm problems
